YOUR LIFE AS A VET / VETERINARY SURGEON

A typical full-time Associate Veterinarian works from 8 am to 6 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and is in surgery on Tuesdays from 8 am to 12 pm. This full- or part-time position also works every other Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm. We are closed on evenings, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and holidays! There are no emergency on-call responsibilities!

As a Vet / Veterinary Surgeon, you provide the highest standard of preventative, diagnostic, dental, medical, and surgical care for our small animal patients. Assisted by your dedicated vet tech and veterinary assistant, you educate clients about preventative pet care measures by advocating for a healthy diet, regular exercise, routine vaccinations, and dental care. Your caring nature shines through and puts both clients and pets at ease as you conduct examinations using fear-free techniques.

An analytical thinker, you draw on your comprehensive knowledge as you examine, assess, and diagnose a wide range of common health issues and be challenged by the more interesting, uncommon cases seen in general practice. You're glad that our 9,000-square-foot animal hospital is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment such as an in-house lab and digital x-ray equipment, which enable you to quickly develop treatment solutions. Clients appreciate your candor as you collaborate to establish a care plan, and they know they can trust you to properly prescribe medication, treat wounds, and perform surgeries. A compassionate person, you demonstrate remarkable empathy for the client worried about the pet that they treat as a member of their family. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Current Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) licensure in the state of PA
  • Fear Free certification or willingness to become certified

Experienced veterinarians looking to buy into a practice are welcome. New vet graduates are also encouraged to apply as we have experience mentoring early career veterinarians!
